On March 12, severe weather caused a loss of electricity at the All Kids Unit site in the Bloom Building in Springfield. The office was closed on Monday and Tuesday, March 13 and 14. Today power has been restored and all telephone and fax lines have reopened. The KidCare Hotline and Customer Service helpline are also operating.
As you may know, during the power outage, AKAA and MPE providers were unable to fax MPE applications or online application proofs.
Effective today, March 15, 2006, you may again fax all items to the established fax numbers.
Online applications that were transmitted during the power outage have been received. We will register them based on date of receipt. Please refax signature pages and proofs for any applications submitted online on March 13 or 14. Make sure the household ID is included on all items.
AKAAs may earn TAP for applications transmitted March 13 and 14 if signature pages and proofs are received in the KidCare Unit by the end of this week.
We will also process the MPE applications as soon as possible. Your patience is appreciated.
